Morena Baccarin Joins Deadpool as the Female Lead

The Hollywood Reporter brings news that Homeland and Gotham star Morena Baccarin has signed on to play the female lead in the upcoming Deadpool movie. She has signed on to play the romantic interest of the title character.
She was one of the 6 actresses who were the front runners for the role before she was cast as the female lead. Deadpool is currently scheduled for a release on February 12, 2016.
